From right to left, excluding the check digit, multiply alternating digits by 3 and 1.
Check GTIN-8, GTIN-12, GTIN-13, and GTIN-14 check digits and build the supported GS1 Digital Link URI subset. A correct digit does not prove GS1 assignment or product identity; GTIN-14 is not a consumer-unit identifier for retail POS.
